F.A.Q.

Frequently asked questions.

Can the event-organizers help to find accommodation?

Generally we are not able to provide help fro finding accomodation. Please writen an email to info@himmelauferden.eu to find out, if any new information is avaiable. A brief list with Hotels in close proximity can be found here.

If you are planning to come with a group and are interested in a place for the group to stay (e.g. a church), please send an email to info@himmelauferden.eu. We will try to help the best we can.

How about car park?

There are many car parks available. All of them should be within the reach of a ten minute walk.

Is public transportation available?

The venue is well connected to public transportation. You can either choose the “Straßenbahn” (S112) or bus to the corresponding station „Neue Mitte”. From that station the venue can be reached by a 1 minute walk. Available busses are lines 90, 91, 92, 93, 96 and 953.

Will food be provided?

Inside of the venue there are several areas, where food can be bought. A caterer is running these, so food is not included in the registration fee.
Additionally there are more then 200 shops and 40 restaurants and bars on the promenade of the CentrO. They can be reached by a ten minute walk.

When will the doors for the events open up?

We will open the doors approximately 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each session. We kindly ask you for your patience and support, so that a soundcheck and a briefing for the musicians and other responsible personal can be performed.

Is there child care?

We ask for your understanding, but during the session we will not be able to provide childcare and there will no rooms be provided for it. In certain cases we might be able be to provide extra room for nursing mothers.
For children younger than 14 years of age there are free tickets available, so they need to be registered (ticket-category: “Kids under 14 Years”).
